stove without ignitor

Most stoves these days carry an ignitor the ignitor operates like a pilot light but it is not on all the time like a pilot light, it only comes on when you turn on the thermostat for the oven.
Before they invent the ignitor most stoves had a standing pilot the others you had to manually light with a match-( yes i know i'm going back too far ),anyway it's good to look back sometimes.
If you have a stove that use an ignitor, depending on how you use it you might change the ignitor a few times over the life of the stove,
there are only a few models out there that still use the old standing pilot method, here is one.
